1. Where can I sign up for utilities?

Water,sanitary sewer, and residential trash service are all provided through City Hall at 19 E Peoria Street. No deposit is required but you must enroll in person and provide a photo ID. More...

2. What is my trash pickup schedule?

Trash is picked up twice weekly. If you live NORTH of Peoria Street, trash pick up is on Tuesday and Friday. If you live SOUTH of Peoria Street, your pick up is on Monday and Thursday. Pick up days may change due to holidays.

3. Is recycling available in Paola?

Paola does not offer curb-side recycling. However, a recycling truck is parked in the parking lot just south of the American Legion and west of the Little League Baseball Field at Wallace Park. Recyclable items can be dropped off there.

The Paola Chamber of Commerce has a "Welcome to Paola Committee" that will be happy to provide you with everything that you need to feel at home in Paola. You can contact the Chamber of Commerce at 294-4335 or contact City Hall at 259-3600.

6. Are any animals banned in the city?

Yes. As a general rule, farm animals cannot be kept in the city limits. Also, no breed of Pit Bull Terrier may be kept inside the city limits.
