Part-Time Custodian - Paola Community Center (06/09/2015) 

This position is responsible for overall cleanliness, upkeep and light maintenance of the Paola Community Center.  This position may require some flexibility in scheduled hours but will average ten (10) hours per week. 

Minimum requirements:  

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent 
  • General knowledge of cleaning and various light maintenance duties
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral direction and safety practices
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pre-employment drug screening required
  • Must pass criminal background check

Technology Coordinator - Paola Free Library (06/23/2015)

The Paola Free Library is accepting applications for a part time Technology Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upgrade of all computers and computer systems used within the library and for teaching computer classes to the public several times during the year.


  • Previous experience working with and troubleshooting computers and computer systems
  • Degree in computer technology preferred
  • Familiarity with current trends in technology
  • Willingness to train others in the use of computers and computer applications
  • Must pass background check, physical and drug screen

The schedule for this position is somewhat flexible.  Hours per week will not exceed 19.  Beginning salary is $14.50 per hr. with an increase to $15.00 following a satisfactory evaluation after 6 months.
